Comments will be screened, so don't worry too much about spoilers in your app. (The few that are visible are mods apps that we chose to leave open as examples. These do contain spoilers for their respective canons.)

Applications will be open for a week and we'll get back to you within 3 days with a decision.

If we feel that your grasp on a character is shaky, we may ask for a revision within 3 days. A final decision will be made from that revision. If you still don't get in, don't worry—you can always try again next round.

For the first round of apps, we will only be processing the first 25 applications submitted. This number may change for future app rounds.

Reasons this character belongs here (young characters only): If your character is 14 years old or younger, please describe why you think they'd fit here. For characters who look young but are actually older than 14, this isn't necessary.
Species: Human? Alien? Android? Something else? If your character doesn't have a normal human body, give us a brief rundown of what living accommodations they might need and how best to kill them.
Background: A wiki link describing the character's history is fine.
World Info (OCs only): Tell us about your OC's world. This should be at least 500 words.
Previous game history and personality changes (CRAU only): Tell us about your character's history, relationships, and development in their previous game.
Powers/abilities: This covers anything outside the realm of typical human experience. Any magical/superhuman abilities, combat-related or otherwise, go here.
Special skills: This is for everything not covered by the above, particularly as it might relate to combat, since this character might be killing someone someday. Are they a trained assassin? Untrained in combat but exceptionally clever? That goes here.
Possessions: What did they have on them when they were brought to the facility?

Personality: Give us a sense of who your character is and why they are the way they are. Examples from canon to back up statements are useful. 300 words as an absolute minimum. We don't need every little detail mapped out but we do want a thorough picture of the character, especially if they are complex or a very prominent character in their canon. Don't skimp on this section!
Motivation: What does your character want enough to tempt them to great lengths to get it? Feel free to list as many things here as you can think of.
Strongest bonds: Since this is a game about the relationships between people, give us a brief description of the top 3-5 people your character is closest to in their canon, and why you think they should be on the list.

Sample: Give us an example of your character's dialogue, thoughts, and actions. You can write a sample log post or link to previous threads, as long as the example contains both dialogue and thoughts. Minimum of 250 words for a sample log post, or 5 comments from your character (keep in mind that we're looking for a rough equivalent to the 250 words we asked for in a written sample, so a thread with very short tags should include more comments). Samples can be any rating, but please mention if there is R-rated content.
